Studying the multifaceted nature of architecture equipped me with a language and philosophy integral to all design. I have developed a more adept understanding of how users are woven into the fabric of design, constructing an expressive narrative that inversely services functionality. Sourcing inspiration through contemporary art, fashion, and culture, my creative vision is informed by experience and guided by intuition.

The sequence, assembly, and synthesis of materiality and discipline fascinate me. My experience in the construction industry exposed the integral marriages of craft and the evolutionary path from conception to formation to realisation. I worked as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously (e.g. Stratford Waterfront and Lillie Square), whilst studying part-time in order to achieve a MSc in Construction Cost Management.
